OUR STORY

3rd Generation Family-Owned Business

Our farmhouse has been a host to many folks over the years. From the multiple exchange students to friends and family that stay with us to help during the busy time of the year, our farm would not be successful if not for the generosity and willingness of others to help make it a warm and inviting place.

ABOUT ECHO HILL FARM

Our property has its roots in farming going back to the late 1700s. At one time there were beef cows and a water-powered sawmill. The horses were trained to independently transport logs from the fellers to the landing. Our family purchased the property in 1972 and the 1st trees were planted in 1974. By 1982, the old cow stalls converted to a wreath room complete with 4 wreath machines, and thousands of Christmas trees in the fields were ready for harvest. As kids, we used to climb to the top of the hill and yell “Echo” to hear our voices reverberate below from our old house with an attached barn. Hence when the farm passed to the 2nd generation, the name became “Echo Hill” Nursery.
